Carpet On Driver Side Is Wet

I ve noticed water under my driver s side floor mat for the last couple weeks.

Carpet on driver side is wet.

Gatorfankh on june 09 2019. I failed to mention in the video tha. The carpet is always very wet from the firewall to the floor on the drivers side of my 2000 chrysler lhs only after driving during the rain. I first noticed my floor mats were wet on their underside.

Here is the location where water is getting into the cab of my truck and getting the driver side floorboard soaking wet. I noticed a musty smell and discovered my carpet is soaking wet under the floor mat on the drivers side thoughts. It appears that water is coming in thru the wheel well. It s a 93 cutlass ciera.

I read through a couple other threads on here re water under floor mats and some suggestions were leaking door seals windshield seals clogged a c drain or water coming up from the. They determined it was the shark fin an replaced it under warranty. Then i later discovered that the floor on passenger side and driver side was wet. I got a 2008 328i and i have noticed in the last couple of weeks a wet carpet in the driver side foot well area.

I went to my dealer with the same complaint. I pulled back the carpet and the floors were not wet. I don t feel any wetness in the carpet above or to the side but it may have dried since. It s also leaking on seatbelts and back of seats but not side of seats.

The carpet is wet under the all weather floor mat i have in the area of he brake pedal and the foot rest. For about a week now i only drive with my a c on its min setting and not blowing on the floor before i kept it on max on blowing through the vents and the floor. I have had my se cc about two weeks now.
